Go to Canvas LMSIn the Left Menu click on CoursesClick on a specific Course (Any Course you want to add a checklist to)In the Courses menu, Click the "Settings" option (Last option at the bottom)In the settings page click on the "App" tab.Click on the "View App Configurations" buttonClick the blue +App button to add a new AppInside the Add App Modal, for Configuration Type, choose "By Url"In the Name input, type in "Interact List"Leave Consumer Key and Shared Secret emptyIn Config Url paste in this url https://interactlist.com/api/lti/config.xmlClick Submit (The app should be created)Adding the external tool to a ModuleIn the course menu, click ModulesInside of an existing Module (or once your module has been created) - Click the + button to "Add a new item to the module"Inside this "Add item" modal choose "External Tool" from the drop down listClick on "Interact List" from the list of available tools (This will open up the 'Link resource from external tool' Modal). The modal should load the "Checklist Linker" page. Now you need to find your checklist link.If you have Interact List open in a separate tab switch to that tab, otherwise open a separate tab and login to Interact ListFind the Checklist you want to embed in Canvas and obtain the "Share" URL/Link. If you are inside the checklist editor, click the Share button at the top right, and then click "Copy Link" button. If you are inside your Dashboard, find the checklist you want to use and click the 3 dots on the card for the context pop-out menu, then click "Copy share link"Now that you have your specific checklist link, go back to your Canvas tab and paste the link into the "checklist linker" input, then click the "Link Checklist" button. This will allow Canvas to 'deep link' directly to your checklist, embedded inside the module.Once linked, you can either change the title (page name) or leave as is (please do NOT change the url, as that is deep linked to your checklist)To finish up click the blue "Add Item" button to save your linked content.Clicking on the Linked Content now renders the embedded checklist directly into the module (example)
